Manu Ranjan ka Baap !!

They dont need any introduction

Indian Premier League, well what to write about it. Its been so much in news for past sometime that it doesn't need any introduction especially in a country which is passionate about cricket. Everyone knows about the astronomical amounts offered to players playing this league. It has all the glamor of bollywood stars like SRK, Preity Zinta, Akshay and many more visiting celebrities. Probably this is the first time when a cricket event has attracted big tycoons like Mukesh Ambani, DLF, GMR, Ness Wadia and not to mention the Kingfisher owner Vijay Mallya as investors.

Even though, ICL was the first mover in this game, but for some official and non-official reasons, IPL has seen much-much more success than its rival sibling. IPL seems like a big tornado of cricket passion running all over the country, churning loads of money.

Different flavors of the game

So much so has been added to it that cricket seems to be just another aspect of it, as there are other aspects like Bollywood attraction, Industry leaders, Loads of money, high media coverage, billion eyeballs following it and not to mention events like slapping. The statement becomes more evident if one compares the non-cricket masala of IPL event to ICC World Cup event.

Twenty20 - The shorter version

With the success of IPL and the earlier event of ICC World Cup, it is clear that definitely Twenty20 format is here to stay. It has been liked by people because of its added glamor to the cricket, has more action than ODI and promises to be a fast and furious form of cricket.
